A refined visual identity for WBO Super Middleweight World Champion Hamzah Sheeraz, built around a distinctive logo and bespoke production-ready typeface.
Hamzah Sheeraz is the reigning WBO Super Middleweight World Champion and one of Britain's leading professional boxers. Diffused worked with Hamzah to develop a refined visual identity built around a distinctive logo and bespoke typography system designed to grow with his brand beyond the ring. The identity The project went beyond creating a standalone wordmark. We developed a custom typeface from the visual language of Hamzah's identity, translating the original letterforms into a functional font system that could be used consistently across digital platforms, social content, campaigns, merchandise and commercial partnerships. Typeface development Each character was constructed and refined as a vector glyph before being developed into a usable type system. This involved defining consistent proportions, baselines, character spacing and visual rhythm alongside detailed kerning adjustments between individual letter pairs. The system was repeatedly tested at different sizes and across different applications to maintain legibility and balance while retaining the distinctive character of the original identity. Production-ready formats The finished typeface was compiled and packaged into OTF, TTF, WOFF and WOFF2 formats. This enables the same typography to be used natively across professional design software, websites and digital products rather than relying on static logo artwork. A scalable brand system Alongside the typeface, we refined the core logo and prepared a complete set of production assets, creating a scalable visual system that can evolve with Hamzah's career, partnerships and wider personal brand. The result is an identity where the typography itself becomes a recognisable brand asset—creating consistency across every touchpoint while remaining distinctly Hamzah Sheeraz.
